The last couple days I’ve been at Susan’s house, working on my portfolio while she was at work. She’s another inspiring nomad: she’s taught English in Ecuador, been a human rights observer in Chiapas, worked with NGO’s in Indonesia, the Council of Canadians in Ottawa, and currently Sierra Club of BC in Victoria. She’s been to something like 23 countries? Passionate about social justice and hopeful about the world… probably because she’s one of those people that’s working really hard for positive change. When I need to know what’s actually going on in our government, I don’t go to the internet, I call Susan. Three-time winner of my awesomest room-mate award. Wait, make that four-time winner.

Thanks for the visit, Susan!
